You must hand it to Asus for coming up with some clever innovations over the years. I would put the ZenPad Audio Cover in that same category of innovation. Who would have thought that a 5.1 sound system (5 speakers and 1 subwoofer) could be built into a slender tablet cover/case.
First thing to mention is the compatibility. The Audio Cover is only made for the ZenPad 8.0 (Z380 Series) and the ZenPad 7.0 (Z370 Series). You will find these listed in retail as the CA71 (Z370 Series) and CA81 (Z380 Series). For this generation, the ZenPad S 8.0 and ZenPad 10 are not getting these covers.
At the time of writing, the Audio Cover appears to be delayed in coming to North America. It’s available in Asia so far. We are hoping to update with global release date information very soon.
