Those of you living in the United States, you can now pre order the Z300C aka ZenPad 10 tablet. For $179 you get a 10-inch tablet with 1GB RAM (possibly 2GB RAM), 16 GB storage with a microSD slot for additional storage (up to 64GB card).
This is essentially a Transformer Pad, so there is in fact a keyboard accessory, although the price is not yet know. The front facing speakers are also another nice selling point, aside from the cheap price. You can also use the Z Stylus on the ZenPad 10 and only the Z580CA ZenPad S 8.0 model shares that same functionality. The processor is an Intel Atom x3-3200 (1.2GHz) quad-core and it’s also 64-bit.

I hope that this table won’t be available only on-line (Amozon, Bestbuy, Ebay) because I prefer first to see and feel the product than to buy it and in Europe countries (Bulgaria) products from US are coded. 🙁
Does this have 1 GB RAM or 2 GB? The specs on the Amazon page say 2 GB.
1GB. The specs are contradictory on the same page if you look carefully. The initial sentence description lists 1GB of RAM. Thus, we’ve looked at what this is being listed as elsewhere, and 1GB seems more likely. It may be 2GB, but it’s safe to assume 1GB. These details in specs are problematic for sure. It’s not just the Z300C where there are contradictory specs being listed online.
Correction: This article states that the Z580C can use the Zpen. It should be the Z580CA.
I know you guys are working hard to keep Asus’s hot mess of a naming system straight. I just didn’t want others mislead.
Thanks again!
Thank you kind sir! Fixed! Thanks for noticing.
